SpringHill Suites by Marriott Wilmington Wrightsville Beach

It was easy to get to, and there were lots of restaurants and stores in the area. The rooms were nice and clean. There were some things left in the fridge from the last people. But, it was cleaned in a hurry for us. We needed an accessible and the staff made this possible quickly. They worked as a good team and cared about our comfort.

Check-in staff welcoming. The suite was very spacious, beds and pillows comfy, large bathroom, nice cold fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The sofa and desk area was OK, nothing special, large walk in closet. Room was clean and AC worked fine. Nice breakfast, scrambled eggs, pork sausages, oatmeal, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, bananas, oranges, a variety of bagels and muffins including a gluten free option. Good coffee. Room was quiet and location of hotel was good. There are a ton of restaurants and shops less than a mile away. I would visit again.

This is a nice hotel! The only reason I don't give it a 5 stars is because the shower was not the cleanest and the soap was not stocked sufficiently for my stay of 1 night. The handicap rooms have a mobile shower head, and hose of this shower head had a black substance in between the lines. Other then theses two complaints, the hotel was nice, and the staff was welcoming. I would stay again!

From Charles in charge, to Nadine. From Suzanna at the bar to Super Mario at the desk and many others. I’ve stayed at a ton of JW’s and had a $2kbonvoy gift card and close to 3k points. I needed every single one of them. A nightmare situation (outside of my stay after a cross country move) for a young radiologist with 13 state licenses was made as pleasant possible to the kindness from all the staff. Unfortunately I never got to meet Ben the general manager but he is doing a phenomenal job and more importantly his employees are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Front desk person was super nice her name started with a D but I can't remember it. Really liked the energy in the hotel and I spent some time in the lobby catching up on some work. Bartender was really friendly and the entire setup was welcoming downstairs. When I checked in an immediately said that I was coming back down instead of sitting in the room. room was neat and clean just had a few lights out in the bathroom that made it a little dark. The mirror light and the light by the toilet (Room 420). But everything else superseded that. I normally stay at the Element in Wilmington but I'll definitely be back here as well!! A++

I would like to recommend the parking lot, which was adequately paved with nice gray curbs. Classic asphalt/concrete vibe. White arrows! Excellent choice.

Great for female solo travelers. Surrounded by places to eat/drink but also has a snack area and a bar inside. Do not book the 1st floor if you cant drown out noise. The bar patrons and breakfast patron voices carry down the hallway. But I'd definitely book again.

We decided on a last-minute trip for my husband’s birthday and realized during pre check-in through the Bonvoy app that our original reservation was booked for the wrong night. We quickly booked a one-night stay at SpringHill. The front desk staff was amazing friendly, professional, and made check-in easy. Unfortunately, once we got to our room, things went downhill. There were scratches on the walls, a few light switches didn’t work, the shower leaked water all over the floor, and the biggest concern was a cockroach that came out of the microwave. We usually have great experiences staying at Bonvoy hotels, but this visit definitely didn’t meet the standard we’re used to.
